Capacity: 40" W x 40" H @ 90 degrees
Blade: 2.625" x 33'0" x .063"
Motor: 30 HP
Hydraulics: 5 HP
The Control Console is located on the front of the saw, in a swing-away console, for operator convenience.
The Touch Screen display provides easy-to-use menu navigation for programming information required for semi-automatic job. Other functions include system information, diagnostics and saw operation parameters.
The cut screen allows the operator to set the height/blade speed and to control vising options to set up for a manual or semi-automatic cut. The Cut Watcher is also set from this screen.
The control panel allows for quick I.O. and system operation to calibrate the encoders and help diagnose a possible problem with operation of the saw.
Help files are available to assist in operating the saw. These include: a blade symptom chart, length convertor, basic calculator saw safety section and blade change instructions.
The patented Cut Watcher System monitors the cut for squareness to a pre-set deviation value. The system shuts down the saw when the pre-set value is exceeded. This is a must for production cutting.
The Hydraulic Computer Controlled Traverse, or HCCT, controls the feed rate and cutting force to maintain the optimum cutting rate.
With the HCCT, a Material List is provided with the touch screen. The list includes the recommended blade speeds, cutting rates and blade pitch for the type and size of material. The data can then be transferred to a job and run automatically or manually.
An 8' powered roller base is provided for material handling.
Heavy-Duty Powered Full Stroking Main Vise, with adjustable clamping force, clamps and holds the material securely during the cut.
A high intensity light that casts a shadow of the blade onto the material to be cut indicatingf the exact spot where the blade will enter the material
Blade speed can be adjusted with an infinitely variable speed drive which allows the user to adjust blade speed's surface feet per minute which is set and adjusted from the Touch Screen.
The saw has a built-in coolant system with sealed coolant pump and is fully panned. The coolant is dispensed through both guide arms and a flex-tube nozzle to flood the center of the cut.
A shaft-driven Blade Brush is standard for positive removal of metal chips that lodge in the blade gullets. This system ensures a cleaner blade, more accurate cuts and prolonged blade life.
The Powered Guide Arm allows the operator to adjust guide spacing for optimal blade support and improved accuracy.
A blade guide system is composed of side and back blade guides which are flat carbide inserts.
In addition to precision-ground flat carbides, roller guides are used to reduce vibration when cutting hard materials.
The Powered Blade Tensioner keeps the blade at the proper tension, compensating for blade stretch. It assures and maintains proper blade tension at all times during the cutting process and helps to make changing the blade a quick and easy task.
The saw is equipped with a safety Emergency Stop cut-off switch. This allows the operator to closely monitor the cutting process and quickly stop it if needed.
The Safety Lockout Key is used to disable saw operation during maintenance.
The saw will automatically shut off if the blade breaks shown by the Broken Blade indicator.
The Panic Stop haults all automatic functions.
The Chip Conveyor removes chips from the cutting area into an easy-to-empty container. Chips and coolant are automatically separated into two different containers.
